It’s a Kind of Magic… Wands!
A few weeks ago my niece Anna and I were practicing some magic, we decided “curly spells” (make curly gestures with your hands) are the best for illusion spells and “whizzy spells” (make whizzy gestures) are the best for transformation spells. I think I’ve been too influenced by Skyrim and she’s watched/read too much Harry Potter.
I’ve been carving some magic wands from tree branches as a present for Anna and the rest of my nieces, I happened to mention this on our Facebook Page and a few people asked to see pictures, I joked “They’re already listed for sale on the website… if you can’t see them you must be a muggle!”
Of course they are not really listed on the website, that is unless I’m a muggle and can’t see them! Well just to double check i’ll upload a photo here, if you can’t see them then you are definitely a muggle, but you know that is not necessarily a bad thing because riding broomsticks isn’t the best form of transport in the rain we are having right now and who really wants to get covered in soot travelling through a fireplace??

Hand Carved Magic Wands
I used a soldering iron to carve the girls names on their wands… “Holly’s” is just facing the wrong way!!
