If you did receive the dispatch notification email you order should be with you in 2-3 days. All deliveries are sent via Royal Mail in the event your order is not there when you expected please contact us so we can chase things up.
Q) Can I pick up a delivery from you? A) Unfortunately not, because we might be busy pouring molten metal into a mould, hand carving a wax pattern or hand shaping a silver pendant we can’t accept visitors.
Q) Something I really want is out of stock, will you make more for me? A) In 99% of cases the answer is yes, get in touch with us to tell us what you are after
Q) I’m getting married and would love some of your wedding favours, could you offer me a bulk buying discount? A) Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Yes we can, contact us to tell us your needs.
Q) Will you create a bespoke piece of jewellery for me? A) It depends on the piece you want and our avalibility. One off pieces are labour intensive. We can however create silver and pewter pieces to order. Please contact us for more details
Q) Does Pewter Tarnish? A) Yes, but not nearly as easily as silver. Modern Pewter is much more resilient against environmental influences and so tarnishes at a much slower rate.
Q) Does your jewellery contain Nickel? A) None of our jewellery contains Nickel (Also known as Nickle, Nickel-Silver or German Silver)
The “Dangerous Substances and Preparations (Nickel) (Safety) Regulations 2000″ (UK) and European Parliment Directive “94/27/EC” prohibits the use of Nickel in items of jewellery worn next to the skin.
Q) Is your silver jewellery Hallmarked A) UK law requires us to Hallmark all silver in which the total weight of all metal is over 7.78 grams. From September 27th, 2011 it is also our policy to Hallmark (where practicable) all items under that weight too, however extant stock under the 7.78 gram limit produced before that date may be sold without a hallmark. Our advice to consumers is that you should only buy jewellery described as “Silver”, “Fine Silver” or “Sterling Silver” in the UK if it has been Hallmarked.
Q) How can I recognise your hallmark? A) It is an oval with the letters “TPG” inside, currently we use the Birmingham Assay Office and so all of our jewellery should also be stamped with their “Anchor” hallmark.
